Read under your own name. Sell what you make of it.

A machine reads every filing on this wire and renders a verdict by published rules. Some documents are worth a person. A GIG reader reads a company’s warrant paper and writes a verdict under their real name, dated, at their own price. It sits on the company page beneath the automatic verdict and the founder’s.

Rule one

Nobody is anonymous.

A real name and real contact details, verified before you can sell anything. Your name is published on everything you write. No handles and no exceptions.

Rule two

Everyone has an opinion, not advice.

Every verdict is labelled opinion, not advice. The one exception: a reader who has registered a professional licence with Warrant Wire or 8K10Q may label a verdict advice, and is marked licensed beside their name.

Rule three

Warrants only.

A verdict is about the financing — the paper, the terms, the people who arranged it. It does not rate the company’s products, its science or its prospects.

Rule four

Dated, and never silently changed.

Every verdict carries the date and time it was written. A revision gets a new date under the old one. The record of a named person being right — or wrong — is the asset.

What you keep

You set your own price. A flat $50 is deducted from every verdict sold — for the house’s costs: card processing, the desk, the call, the payout — and you keep the rest. A fee, not a percentage: the better you are paid, the less it costs you.

Paid two days after each sale. The buyer has those two days to say the verdict was not worth it; if they do, the founder looks at it before anyone is paid. Payouts go by Stripe to your bank account; ACHplug confirms the account is real.

A read is what the document says. A verdict is what you make of it. They are bought separately and priced separately.

Enrol

Three steps, and the system does the first two. One: continue with Google — your email is verified on the spot and your account exists. Two: your profile: full name, a real telephone (not Google Voice), where you are from, a picture, a bio, a background, what you are, your price. Three: the desk telephones you. Nobody publishes before that call.

Licensed professionals: give the licence type and number on the profile. It is checked before the licensed level is granted, and only that level may mark a verdict as advice — and chooses it verdict by verdict.
