This site is run by Jersey Shore Cont LLC, trading as Warrant Wire, of 377 Valley Road, Unit 2972, Clifton, New Jersey 07013.

The short version.

We keep your email address if you buy something or ask for alerts. We keep a note of what was searched, without keeping who searched it. We never see your card. We do not sell anything about you to anybody, and there is nobody to sell it to — this site carries no advertising network and no tracking pixels.

What we keep

Your email address, if you buy something or ask to be told when a company you follow files. That is how we know what you have access to and where to send it.
The tickers you follow, if you give them to us. They decide what we send you. They are never published and never sold.
What was searched — the ticker or company name, and the date. This tells us which companies people want read, which is how we decide what to work on next.
A record of what you bought, so you can prove it later and so we can refund it.

What we do not keep

Your card details. Ever. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own pages. Your card number never reaches this site and we could not see it if we wanted to.
Your bank details if you pay from your bank. That runs through ACHplug and the numbers are not stored here.
Your IP address. Visits are logged as a path, the domain that referred you, a country, a region and a device type — plus a one-way hash that lets us count returning visitors without knowing who they are. The hash cannot be turned back into a person.
Your name, unless you tell us. We do not ask for one to sell you anything.

What we never publish

No company anybody searches for is ever named publicly. We publish counts — how many people asked about companies we have not screened — and never which person asked about which company. Publishing "somebody searched XYZ" would be a signal about a company under our byline, put there by a stranger, and we will not do it.

The same goes for the alert list. It can be written to and it cannot be read from: the part of the site that adds an address has no way to return one.

Who else touches it

Stripe handles card payments and holds your email and payment record under their own privacy policy.
Cloudflare serves the site and stores the database.
ACHplug handles bank payments. It is ours.

Nobody else. There is no advertising network on this site, no analytics company, and no tracking pixel from anyone.

Cookies

We set no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. The site keeps a little information in your own browser so it remembers what you have already been shown. That never leaves your machine.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. Alert addresses are kept until you ask us to stop. Search logs are kept as counts.

Having it removed

Write to privacy@warrantwire.com from the address you want removed and we will remove it, and tell you what we held. If you are in a place with a legal right to ask for that — the United Kingdom, the European Union, California and others — this is how you exercise it, and we do not require you to prove where you live first.

The one thing we cannot delete is a purchase record inside the seven-year window, because that is not ours to throw away.

Children

This site is not intended for anybody under 18 and we do not knowingly keep information about children.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the site starts doing something this page does not describe, this page is wrong and it gets fixed before the thing ships.
